OBGYN 's  Response
Hi Ms. Saime,
Hot flushes are experienced as the body starts producing less and less estrogen during menopause. Most often, relief is obtained by hormone supplements. Since you do not wish to use any medication, you can go for natural remedies. Please see that you stay in a well ventilated room at home and also at workplace. A cooled room would be better. Practise meditation thrice a day for ten-minute intervals. Drink plenty of liquids and avoid spicy and fried foods. Use loose-fitting preferably cotton clothing. Hope this helps.
