Suggest Treatment For Horrible Shoulder And Arm Pain

Hello I suffer with polymyalgia.... I cannot sleep due to shoulder arm circle pain, if active I can handle the pain...if I sit and read OR DO nothing for a few hours the pain is horrific...been one year on prednisone and thankfully the hip and leg pains went away but the shoulder circle is worsening, my dr will not put me back on prednisone due to heart and general health suffering...he is dead against prednisone I am presently taking 12 hourly tramadol mixed with panadol..

Dear Sir/Madam,
Thanks for seeking help on your issue; I have gone through your symptoms, and in my opinion, polymyalgia is not the cause of shoulder pain, some internal derangement would have occurred, get help by consulting a orthopaedic doctor, many shoulder conditions can be cured by local injection of steroids which have very little systemic effect.
