Hi Thank you for asking HCM. I have gone through your query. Your husband s problem can be most likely due to combined bacterial and fungal infection. Cysts can be present. Most likely that is why pores and drainage is present. Taking a broad spectrum antibiotic like Co-amoxiclav and applying ointments containing combination of antifungal like terbinafine and anti bacterial like ofloxacin and ornidazole will be helpful. These are prescription drugs and you have to consult your GP for it. You can also do warm compress. If there is no improvement then incision and drainage might be required.
