Hi,
Ostium secundum is a congenital anomaly, which is relatively benign.
There are two types of correction, one is opent heart surgery and the second is invasive approach via vessels. The choice depends on size and localization of defect.
After surgery everything will be OK with you, and there is a great possibility that diameters of dilated RA/RV will deacrease.
So don't worry the surgery in your case is the optimal choice and usually has very favourable outcomes.

Wish you good health.
If you have further questions don't hesitate to ask.
