Hi,
Thanks for writing in.

It is good to know that your brother has completed treatment for hodgkins lymphoma. It is important for him to closely follow up with his doctor every 3 months as recommended.

He might be free from disease and it is possible that he is cured from cancer. Usually cancer is cured if a patient survives for 5 years from detection of cancer. It is probable that your brother has shown good response to treatment and he might lead a normal disease free survival.

The recurrence of hodgkins lymphoma cannot be predicted and in most patients the disease will not happen again. Please keep in mind that if he has weight loss, fever or lumps any where in the body then he should consult his doctor immediately and take treatment. Please do not worry.
