Suggest Treatment For High Fever With Stomach Pain

my 6 year old son has been running a 104 to 101 temp since monday noon. took into local clinic monday afternoon and was dx with double ear infection and place on zithromax for 5 days. temp is not breaking with tylenol or ibuprofen. he also is complaining his stomach hurts. have palpated on stomach and with release still complains of pain all over in stomach. we want to ask to help make decision if should bring into ER to have looked at further. he does have hx of asthma which is stable and has no flare ups.

I'm sorry to hear about your son. He sure must be going through lot of trouble. And yes you should take him to emergency. Those symptoms are also very much suggestive of dengue illness and he needs to get blood tests done to rule out any other infection too apart from dengue. Also if blood test is not suggestive , then an ultrasound abdomen is required. Take care.
