Suggest Treatment For High Fever In A Child
my 11 year old has been feeling ill for 17 days now, took her 7 days ago to the dr and was diagnosed with strep, put on amoxicillin. she is now spiking a fever of 101 and has no energy, body aches and head aches. I am thinking she has mono. what are my options? do I take her in again or just let this run its course

It can be due to some viral infection for which give her some antibiotics like cefadroxyl or zifi-cv after an expert opinion along with ibugesic-plus or tynol-plus for high grade fever. Give syrup zincovit or polybion for tiredness and loss of energy. Do cold sponging to reduce the temperature of her body.
