Suggest Treatment For High Fever In A Child
Hi My kid is suffering from fever,,temp is around 102f. Vomat and diherria cuming in regular intervel. I have give crocin ds for fever and domstal for vomating. Kid is not taking ors so drip is used to cover de hiderarion. Please suggest a tratment

Gastro enteritis presents with vomiting, loose motions , abdominal pain and signs of infection like fever.
Major concern is hydration of your baby. You already told that your kid is receiving IV fluids so it will take care of your baby.
Secondly your baby is unable to take oral medications then appropriate IV antibiotic with antiemetic is essential to take care of infection.
Please pay attention on urine output of baby or any altered sensorium.
baseline investigations are important like serum electrolyte, complete blood count, stool examination with culture to decide about appropriate antibiotic.
