Suggest Treatment For High Fever And Stomach Pain In A Child

my 4 yr old has been experiencing fevers up to 102.5 for the past 2 1/2 days going up and down, she complains that she had a sore throat on Thursday night by Friday morning her stomach was hurting and still does every now and than she has threw up twice since yesterday she has white spots on her tongue, she goes from being hot to chills, has no apeptite at all could you please help me in finding out what the problem is an d i have only been giving her Motrin for the fever

Hello Dear. Kindly take your daughter to a pediatrician. We need to find out what is the cause of fever by doing blood investigation.

Also one possibility could be some food poisoning. White spots on the tongue can be an oral thrush which suggests some infection.

For the time being you can give her paracetamol syrup 5ml every 6th hourly, keep a wet cloth on forehead, give her lot of fluids to drink, to prevent dehydration. Give her tender coconut water and ORS solution. You can do this till you meet your doctor.
