Suggest Treatment For High Fever And Chills In An Elderly Person

I am 53 years old and i have hb 15.5 and hct is 54.5 after discard 2000 ml blood docter start me ascard 75 mg and hydroxyurea but hydroxyurea giving me high fever and chill now doctor stop hydroxyurea and advise me discard 1000 ml blood and use ascard daily noe i feeling slow pain on my lower back side

It will be very important we know the name of the illness you are suffering from before the doctor is giving you Hydroxyurea as the chills you are feeling could either be as a result of the said illness or as a side effect of starting Hydroxyurea.
