Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am a 63 yr old African American female, who weighs 265 and am taking high blood pressure medication. Lately my blood pressure has been around 90-95/60-65. I do not have insurance and when I go to the doctor it is always higher than that. Can you give me any suggestions?
Hi. With the readings of your blood pressure , do you really need the medicines ? You say it is around 90-95/60-65. This is absolutely below normal. I think you need to contact a Doctor to get the regular follow-up and continue medicines only if necessary as thought by your Doctor- not by you.
Reduce your salt intake and do regular exercises , self-meditation does help a lot.
