Nephrologist 's  Response
According to the history your father is suffering from chronic kidney disease. But you didn't give me the history whether he has single kidney since birth orremoved later due to infection. Whatever may be the reason, he is having protein leakage in urine. If the existing kidney size is normal, he needs renal biopsy if necessary. Consult good nephrologist near by. all the best. if you have any questions feel free to consult me
