Suggest Treatment For High Blood Pressure, Slurred Speech And Loss Of Balance
Hi,I have hypertension and high blood pressure. I take noten and.olmetec Also take thyroxine. 5 days ago I had the camera down the throat test which was all clear Yesterday my husband got worried as he noticed I was off balance, slurring my words, repeated questions 3 times.basically was not with it was very down and felt weird.Today I feel ok.My doctor is away for a month
Hi Thanks for posting on HCM Noten is a beta blocker and olmetec is an angiotensine II receptor blocker. This is a combination that can have your BP under control. However, slurred speech and loss of balance may signal a cerebro-vascular problem to investigate. The short duration of symptoms may have been a transient ischemic attack since being hypertensive increases your rick of such brain problems.I will advise you see a Doctor for a brain scan.Waiting for a month will not be the best given the severity of what we suspect in your case. I will however encourage your try regular physical exercises, reduce salt intake and rest well. Hope my answer will help you Best regards
