Suggest Treatment For High BP And Bedsores In An Elderly

Please help me my grandfather is 105 years old and he's very sick. he cant eat or sleep and his blood pressure is extreamly high. he also has bedsores and is currently in afghanistan where the weather and air is polluted. please help me im worried about him.

Hi,
High Blood pressure at that can lead to hemorrhagic stroke and needs to be controlled. He needs to be put on beta blockers or ACE inhibitors.
If it is very high, it needs to be brought down slowly. His diet should have low salt and a cardiac evaluation is necessary.
For bed sores, he needs to be as much mobile as possible so that pressure at a specific location is reduced. Bed sores are pressure ulcers due to ischaemic damage. Water bed with local antibiotics are necessary. His nutrition needs to be improved to improve his immunity.
