MRSA is a stubborn bacteria.
Treatment of MRSA requires drug sensitivity for the stubborn bacteria.
MRSA is sensitive to third generation cephalosporins,
vancomycin and monobactems however, each time drug sensitivity should be done for each strain.
Surgery can only be initiated once MRSA infection is treated.
Unfortunately, you will have to undergo surgery to fix the
hernias.
Use of mesh is a risk factor for acquiring MRSA so it is best avoided.
Thus, to summarize MRSA treatment should be done first followed by surgery for hernia.
Post-operative care of wound is of paramount importance to avoid hernia formation again.
