Suggest Treatment For Hepatitis B And Low Hemoglobin
good morning doctor, my mother has hepatitis b and her hemoglobin has suddenly gone down to 6 what should she eat to increse her hemoglobin level. she is vegetarian , she has diabeties n blood pressure and thyriod. v all r very much worried . can u plss tell any home solution or any medicine which is easily available in India

Your mother having hepatitis b , thyroid , diabetis and hypertension like many systemic illness....
She has anemia also ....
So for that investigation done with peripheral smear examination and retic count to exclude hemolysis.....
Here your mother might have anemia of chronic disease ....
For detail anemia investigation along with PS do serum ferritin , TIBC , transferrin saturation etc....
If PS suscipician of megaloblastic then b12 estimation needed....
So according to cause treatment for anemia guided....
In general ferrous sulphate iron tablets , multivitamin tablets can be taken....
Jaggery , green leafy veg , spinach , beans , soyeans etc are good source for iron....
As having hepatitis b low fat diet taken ...
Less oil in cooking....
Avoid alcohol if habit....
Consult physician for your physical examination as needed in your case...
