Suggest Treatment For Hemorrhoids

I went to the doctor a few weeks ago for hemoroids, the doctor started me on Metamucil twice a day and stool softners twice a day and put me in for a colonoskopy, which I still have not done yet. Ever since I started this my stomach has become very distended like I could give birth to something and I am still constipated and cramping, I have left several messages for my doctor but no one has called me yet, should i be concerned?

Dear: It might be that Metamusil gave you bloating sensation due to high fiber. You need to have the colonoscopy to evaluate for diverticulosis and polyps.
