Suggest Treatment For Hematoma On Leg After Injury

I fell off a ladder about 2 weeks ago and have a large hematoma on my leg shin. I have been using ice in the evenings a couple of times and was wondering if I should switch to heat at this point. Also taking over the counter pain meds. My foot and ankle are also swollen due to blood drainage down into my foot. Xray did not show any breaks with the shin bone. Not sure if I should continue with ice or use heat going forward.

Dear Patient,looking into the case study : in order to cure the injury ,you need to Apply Normal Hot Compressor on the spot ,additionally you need to take rest for about 15 -20 days ,along with medicine suggested by your doctor .
