Suggest Treatment For Heavy Periods

Hello. I have really heavy periods normally. Well, I normally use tampons but didn t have any so I used a pad. I was bleeding really bad and eventually went to buy regular/light tampons to use. I inserted one and forgot about it for three hours. When I took it out, there was nothing on it !! After an hour, my period began to flow very heavily. I tried this three more times and each one with the same result. I have NEVER had this happen in all my years of using them....

Hi I think you should get yourself evaluated. Get a thyroid profile and prolactin level and a ultrasound done to see uterus and ovaries to find out the cause of heavy bleeding. If anything is abnormal, it can be treated. You can take some medicines like tranexamic acid to stop the bleeding. Hope it helps.
