Suggest Treatment For Heavy Menstrual Cycles

Hi, I have been having heavy menstrual bleeding and clotting for over a month. I have taken BC and progesterone to try and stop the bleeding. I am having to change out a super plus tampon every 30 minutes. At what point do you know if you are bleeding too much?

hi
i understand your concerns, excessive bleeding has various causes according to the age.(which u have not mentioned maam). You should ideally consult a gynaecologist as soon as possible to take prompt and adequate measures to control bleeding and find out the cause for the bleed. As a few local condtions such a fibroid uterus may not respond to progesterone. The major lookout for excessive bleeding is the passage of clots which tells the bleeding is getting more severe. you can try tab. tranaexaemic acid(trapic) thrice daily to reduce the bleeding for the time being, but a consultation with a gynaecologist is a must as soon as possible.

thank you
wish u a speedy recovery..!
