Suggest Treatment For Heartburn , Diarrhea And Gastritis

I have frequent gas, heartburn and occasional diarrhea. When I take vitamins, sometimes it feels like they are stuck in my esophagus and sometimes I suffer from acid reflux at night. I had a colonoscopy about 7 years ago and it was normal. I know I need to see medical attention but I have no insurance. Help.

Hi there.. for the symptoms of GERD you must take proper dietary precautions.. you need to avoid alcohol, caffeine, smoking and hot spicy foods.. medications like patoprazole 40mg or rabeprazole 20mg taken once daily before breakfast are very much useful for GERD. You need to take treatment as early as possible to avoid long term complications of GERD. If the symptoms are persistent it will be better to undergo upper GI endoscopy.. Thank you
