Suggest Treatment For Heart Palpitations During Pregnancy

My daughter, 33, is 6 1/2 months pregnant with her second child. She keeps having these horrible heart palpitations, especially at night which keep her from sleeping. She also sometimes gets dizzy and nauseus. Is there any type of medication she can take that will stop the palpitations and not harm the baby?

Hi dear, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Palpitations and dizziness are symptoms of heart disease or hyperthyroidism.
I would suggest you to consult a cardiologist to get properly examined, investigated including echo done and get appropriate treatment.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
Wishing you good health.
