General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello
I appreciate your concern for your father
Neck pain and headache might be related to osteophytes presents in cervical vertebra.

I would advise him to use cervical collar and tab acetaminophen for headache

Loss of appetite and fever might be caused by liver or gut infection
If I were his treating doctor I would have advised for a battery of tests like blood for hemoglobin, CBC Liver and thyroid function test, blood sugar and an X ray chest.

You should give him lots of fresh fruit and vegetables
Multivitamin supplements
Cough syrup as the cough remedy with steam inhalation and gargling.

Please feel free to write back to me for further clarification and follow up questions, I will be happy to help you
Best regards
