Suggest Treatment For Headaches, Dizziness And Bumps On The Tonsils

Hello. I am on my 3rd round of tonsillitis in the last 2 months. The first 2 times it was red and white bumps.. but now the tonsils are hard and have solid white lines almost. It s been since yesterday this time. It hurts horribly and burns and I m super dizzy, headache, hot, bpm is currently 130. (I m a vet tech) and brpm is 30. It is really bad this time.. I was on azithromizinee 40mg the first 2 times this year. I do have a Hx of tonsillitis where I get it about 12 plus times a year. HEEELP!

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

As per your complain it seems that you have headaches, dizziness and bumps on the tonsils either due to bacterial or viral infection there is also infection in sinuses leading to dizziness and head ache. The bumps on tonsils can occur due to bleeding spots or tonsil stones . And dizziness occur due to ear infection which transfer from upper respiratory track to ear . I would suggest you to consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated and a clinical evaluation followed by a nasal endoscopy or PNS view x-ray of the sinuses can help in confirming the cause and treatment can be planned accordingly. The physician can advise you to take antibiotics like Azithromycin or erythromycin, antiemetic drug, anti-inflammatory painkiller like Ibuprofen, warm saline gargles, steam inhalations and using a humidifier in your room.Take ample of rest and drink plenty of warm fluids.

Hope your concern has been resolved.

Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes,
