Hello dear,
Thanks for being on healthcaremagic.com.If you would have presented to me as an outpatient,I would have made the following clinical explanation-I am in agreement with the doctor who told you that it is migraine.Gastric acidity is not known to cause hemicranial headache(on one side of head).Rather,it appears to be migraine only which may be precipitated with gastric acidity, which can act as a trigger factor for it.
Some of the other typical symptoms are-
1)nausea
2)Photophobia and phonophobia(headache worsens on exposure to bright light and sound)
3)Visual aura
You should observe for yourself whether you are having these symptoms. If yes, then you are on high probability for 'Migraine'.
Please try to figure out the trigger factor which precipitates your headache and eliminate it from your lifestyle. It can be anything like stress, sunlight, any food item like tea, coffee, cheese or smoke.
Please visit a physician so that he can put you up on anti-migraine therapy.I hope you will be fine.Hope it helped you.
