It s been two years with doctors trying to find the right high blood pressure medication for me. My first treatment was,ridaq then followed by adco retic, amiloretic and cozaar and amlog. With all the treatment, my blood pressure could be normalised but i ssuffered the side effects of the mecication like, heavy headaches , dizziness and heavy cramps.Latter i was given elanapril,coveram, prexum,adalat, although i did not suffer the cramps with the last class, i till could not sleep but experienced heavy headaches and could not sleep at night.Lastly i was given captopril which was even worse than the rest because my blood pressure readings increased with heavy headache and ringing ears as well as pulpitations and a heavy temperature.When i returned to the doctor after 1 week of treatment, the doctor said i must stop captopril and take only ridaq 25mg twice a day.Now i don t have any pulpitations but i still have headaches.The doctor also told me to loose weight, of which i did.Two years back i use to weigh 90.8kg but now i weigh81kg.I am 1.62m tall and 50yrs old.Please help doctor.Now i am taking only ridaq 25mg once daily because if i take 2 doses, my blood pressure becomes too low and i feel uncomfortable. With the advice from a friend i also take supradin weight smart from dischem parmacies. Last night my blood pressure was 122 /82
