Suggest Treatment For Headache , Ear Pain And Sore Throat

2 questions since they re interrelated. Me (60 y/o female): my temperature normally is a solid 98.6. It s been running low since yesterday, 97.3, 97.5. My 14 y/o daughter got sick yesterday: fever high 101.8, very weak, bad headache, sore throat, ear aches, neck ache. I gave her Tylenol last night and her temperature has been close to normal, though I m continuing with Tylenol for all of her other symptoms. She s drinking lots of water, eating pretty normally, and getting lots of sleep. Question 1: what does my subnormal temp mean? Question 2: any other advice on my daughter?

Normal body temperature is 37 °C (98.6 °F) which varies between about 36.12–37.6 °C (97.02–99.68 °F). Your body temperature is within normal range so need not to worry and be relax. Low may be due to faulty measuring of instrument or any other thing.

For your daughter, Tylenol will reduce only fever not the cause of fever. She needs strong antibiotics for her throat infections. Do warm water gargles 3-4 times a day. Continue drinking plenty of water and consult your physician immediately.
