I would like to put you on Omeprazole and suggest you to avoid Sodas, fast foods, spices, acidic fruit juices, hot and cold drinks, caffeinated drinks, tea coffee chocolates, fatty meals fried meals etc etc just to list some. If you are obese or overweight, take it down to limits. consult your physician for your weight limits targets. Also ask him to do an H.Pylori test which is the major reason of these symptoms. Lastly, ask your physician for a referral for Upper Gastrointestinal Endoscopy to rule out any ulcers and to see the tone of the lower esophageal sphincter which is lower end of food pipe and usually is loose in patients like you.
