Hi Dear,

Understanding your concern.

These are typical symptoms of temporomandibular joint dysorder (TMJ) . There can be many reasons for TMj dysfunction like :-

- bruxisn that is Grinding or clenching your teeth specially at night .

- Dysfunction of disc between the ball and socket of the joint .

- Arthritis in the joint

- Stress, which can cause you to tighten facial .

I would suggest you to consult oral surgeon for proper diagnosis and to rule out causes like sinusitis and middle ear infection.

Doctor may order MRI or CT scan to confirm the diagnosis .

Doctor may give you night guard , prescribe anti anxiety drugs and may refer to orthodontist for proper alignment of teeth .

In some cases like dics problem or ankylosis , surgery will be needed .

Till then :-

- Try to relax yourself .

- Start physical therapy of facial muscles .

- Do facial exercises .

- Take ibuprofen and acetaminophen for pain .

Hope your concern has been resolved.

Best Wishes,
