Hi dr ! Well i m very much confused abt my test result for hcv. I tested my blood in 2009 at tht time my hcv was positive with value 1.70 while cuttof value was 1 then i went to other after few weeks n result was 1.35 then i hv done with my pcr n it was not detected. Now i want to ask that its now 2 years n i didnt go for test. I want to ask tht when wil my result go negative my anti hcv test
Have you been treated for this HCV? If not, then you need to be treated as there is no spontaneous healing fro HCV infection. If you had been treated, then I think it was a success given that PCR could not detect any viral particles.
Anti HCV would take longer to get negative and this only after treatment and viral eradication.
I hope this helps. i wish you well.
