Suggest Treatment For Hard Stools In Kid

My son is two years old and cries a lot when he passes motion and most of the time it is hard. He was ok few months back but again problem has come and we are giving him soups and juices but still problem persits and also his intake is less .kindly suggest.......

-"try switching to another formula (if using powder milk)"
- include Mashed fruits(banana / peach) pudding
- -include "fresh orange" and pear in diet (not juice)

further advice is :

-warm water intake (boiled water)
- avoid COLD milk
- pediatric colic drops maybe used

hope the bowel movement would be normal.
