General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
I had gone through your query and understand your concern.

You description is suggestive of a possible furuncle. You have not mentioned the site of the swelling. It becomes difficult to tell what it is without taking a look at it.
You need to consult a General Surgeon as soon as possible.

I hope this helps.

If you have any other queries, feel free to ask.

Regards,
Dr.Prathap Kumar
