my thyroid problem has been neglected for 2 yrs I was on synthroid. my right groinarea hip socket and buttocks and lower back are giving me a rude thrill of severe pain when trying to get up and walk. feels like its ready to fall off. it makes a horrific snapping sound with dull pain in the socket and piercing paininside the leg near groin around to the back and I get stuck . I am in constant pain and I haven t a doctor.5 wks ago, my stool had a pod like thing in the toilet with a long clear tubelike thing that reminded me of intestines. now theres a mucus ands sometimes clear discharge and I feel very bruised all around plus weight gain and my fingers and toes cramp, tingle and tips numb and curl.

Hello,

It appears to be a joint either a hip joint or sacroiliac joint. So we need to get x-ray done, on hip and si joints. After x-ray we may need MRI of joints and adjoining soft tissue. Till the evaluation is complete, you should take otc medicine like diclofenac or ibuprofen, diclofenac gel, calcium and vitamin D supplements.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Sagar Makode
