Suggest Treatment For Getting Pregnant

hello sir, i am 26years old and got married in jan 2012. Few months back i found that i had hypothyroidism which has made my periods irregular(they were irregular earlier too). and now we want to plan for a baby but every time i visit my doctor i find something new (problem) happening to me. I am on regular medication. In past few follicle studies Dr. found that there was poly cyst. Now since we couldnt achieve our goal she has advised me to go for HSG. i am really worried .. please help me out , my present medication is tozec 250, clomipure, fertiwish and aspirin along with eltroxin 50. please guide me .

Hi,
Firstly, I would ask you not to worry. What you have is a simple problem and can be easily handled. Once you get your hypothyroidism corrected and use the regular maintenance dose to keep yourself euthyroid, there is no problem. The treatment of polycystic ovaries is multi-faceted, and involves a protocol of investigations before initiating proper treatment. A complete hormonal profile, glucose tolerance test, serum DHEAS levels, AMH levels and a HSG are done. I do not think induction and the rest of the medication is going to help without proper diagnosis. Hope this helps.
