Suggest Treatment For Genital Warts

I have genital warts. Doctor prescribe me podowart lotion. I used it iwice daily . Last night I washed my genital area with detol... after few hours it s become more burning , irritating.... I can t sleep...I can t walk easily. Unbearable irritation. please help sir..

Hi,

You said you suffer from genital wart..also called condyloma accuminata. Podowart is very good therapeutic lotion for genital wart.

You apply any oil on normal skin around wart. Apply podowart on exactly on lesions at night.Keep it overnight. In the morning, wart tissue may be broken. Remove it gradually. Do not apply dettol directly. Wash the area with diluted dettol. Dettol itself might cause burning.

Let the eroded tissue heal. Apply antibiotic cream like mupirocin oint. Orally you may take broad spectrum antibiotic like doxycycline or azithromycine. Take anti inflammatory drug till the healing. Immunomodulator like Levamisole 50 mg daily may be taken for few months.

You take treatment under observation of dermatologist.
