Hi,

I would advise not to over conscious about this, because it may not be the ill condition, if you do not pass the stool for days then also it is nothing to worry. I advise to all my patients those are coming with such complaints that drink more water, have more fiber containing diet, it is better to avoid the laxative or purgative but stool softener can be tried like Isabgol powder. You can take this one or two table spoon prior to bed.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Akhtarhusain Shaikh
