General & Family Physician 's  Response
Fungal infection is caused by fungi that thrive in moist and warm environments such showers and under socks left in shoes. Skin is the body’s natural barrier, and any break in the skin can allow an infection to set in.
1.     Apply locally a cream containing miconazole, clobetasol and gentamicin such as Lobate – GM cream thrice daily
2.     Stop using terbinafin for long term as it will cause side effects
3.     Take Itraconazole 100 mg twice daily per oral after meal for 3 months
4.     Frequently change your sock and shoe to avoid moisture
5.     Allow time for feet to be exposed without any covering
6.     Thoroughly dry the space between the toes after shower. You can use hair dryer for this purpose
Thanks
