Hi, I ve fungal infection between thighs on and off for a very long time. I use creams with clotrimozole when it occurs. It goes away and comes back again after stopping the use of creams. The This made the skin really black and it comes back every time when it is very humid. Please help how to get rid of this infection permanently and also for blackness.

Hello and welcome.

The black color is due to the fungal infection. The region affected is exposed to moisture all through the day and your aim should be to avoid moist surroundings in this particular region.

So try cleaning the region regularly and keeping it dry. You can also use talcum powders that will keep the region dry. This along with anti-fungal creams can help.

Best wishes.
