Does he have cough apart from wheezing? Is he able to be involved in sports and exercise like activities without any complaints? From your given history, I would suggest you as follows: 1. Were I treating him, I would suggest him to use salbutamol or levosalbutamol inhaler via metered dose inhaler with spacer device whenever he has wheezing. 2. If he has to use above inhaler frequently (more than twice a week), I would suggest him taking regular montelukast for at least 3 months. 3. If he has allergic rhinitis (nasal discharge, sneezing, nasal congestion, etc), I would suggest to treat with montelukast and levocetirizine. 4. Please try to avoid exposure to dusts, smokes and air pollution as much as possible. I would also suggest him a nutritive diet rich in vitamins and minerals (adequate amounts of green leafy vegetables, fruits, sprouts, etc). 5.
