Hello and thank you for asking HCM.

I have read all your symptoms and i understand your concern.

Lets start from the bottom. You did a dipstick test that came back positive for UTI. Also if we add all your symptoms, the feel to urinate, changes in the color of the urine, lower back hurts sometime.... from my experience it is the case of a UTI probably a cystitis (infection of the bladder)

Cystitis or UTI have these symptoms and depending from the kind of infection or the reaction of your immune system, you might have a few or all these symptoms:
-burning sensation while urinating
-the urge to go to urinate
-passing frequent, small amounts of urine
-A feeling of pressure in the lower abdomen
-Blood in your urine

These are the most common.

What to do? If you were my patient i would advice you to do a few changes in your diet and start you on antibiotics like ciprofloxacin twice per day,for 5 to 7 days.

The diet consist in:
-a lot of liquids, especially fresh fruit juice, fruits like orange and lemon that have Vitamin C. This helps your immune system fight the infection and to 'flush out the bladder'
-emptying your bladder as soon as possible after having sex
-going to the toilet as soon as you need to pee and always emptying your bladder fully
-drink 1 or 2 cup of chamomile tea, peppermint-ginger-juniper berry tea , marshmallow Root Tea

These tips are for not only when you have an UTI, even when you feel fine, you need to follow these tips. They help your urinary tract to clean itself, and fight all the infections.

I suggest you check up with your family doctor to take a recipe with antibiotics and after a few days you will feel fine and have no problems.

If you have any other question, feel free to contact me.
