Suggest Treatment For Frequent Urination And Elevated PSA Level
Good day doctor,
during my health check up, my PSA level was noted to be 4.2 and subsequently 4.8 after 3 months. However ultrasonic test didn't reveal nothing unusual as well rectal examoination. Biopsy had revealed chronic infalammation and nothing more. Though am experiencing burning sensation at times around rectum and urethra and feel at times weak during that period nothing otherwise is experienced. sometimes also feels more frequent urination during day time.

As an Urologist, i can understand your anxiety. You should write your age.
Elevated PSA is only suggestive of a cancer,which's ruled out after biopsy.
So you don't have to worry about that.
Burning sensation in urine,can be relieved by taking urine alkalyser syrups.
Drink about ten glasses fluids daily.
The burning sensation around rectum will subside gradually.
Continue with the prostate treatment and repeat the PSA,after 6 months.
