Suggest Treatment For Frequent Episodes Of Seizures

Medical history -
First episode of seizure on 22nd jan. 2011.
MRI normal, EEG shows signs of seizure activity.
was on levetiracetam 250mg twice daily.

Second episode of seizure on July 31st due to missed doses.
Added dosage of Frisium 5mg once a day

Third episode of seizure on August19th again due to missed doses.
Was put on medication levetiracetam 500mg twice daily, Frisium discontinued.

Fourth episode of seizure on August27th despit regular medication.
Put on IV 1000mg, advised dosage of levetiracetam 750mg.

Fourth episode of seizure on August31st despit regular medication of 750mg.

Welcome here

Since you are getting seizure repeatedly even on the drug levetiracetam, i would advice you to change the drug. The best choice would be valproate. It is dosed as 25mg/kg of body weight.
Talk to your doctor about this.
