Hi Welcome to healhcaremagic After going through your query I concluded that you have fracture of metacarpals for which a cast has been put in place. You want to swim with this cast. I will advise that you should try swimming only after cast removal. Otherwise water will go inside the cast and will be absorbed and leading to foul smelling after few days forcing cast to be removed . You can discuss with your Doctor about it. Hope your query get answered. If you have any clarification then please don't hesitate to write to us. I will be happy to answer your queries. Wishing you a good health. Take care.
