The pricking pain on the top of your foot (dorsum) following injury after 5 months can be due to simple subtle reasons. It would have been better to know your fracture involved skin and subcutaneous tissue. We need to rule out any foreign bodies struck inside the wound. Even closed hair line fracture can give persistant pricking pain it is better to take an x-ray and of course physiotherapy would help to relieve the pain .

Thanks hope it is useful
