Suggest Treatment For Follicular Lymphoma

I have follicular lymphoma. The last 2 chemo treatments have not worked......no change in the lymphoma. The spleen is enlarged to probably double its normal size. This is causing me quite a bit of discomfort. Is there anything that can be done to shrink the spleen. I m guessing the spleen has enlarged due to the lymphoma although that is not confirmed. My doctor is sort of at the stage of we are doing nothing now. Even if chemo is no longer working for me, I still have lymphoma and will have problems because of that. I would think there would be something that could be done for comfort if nothing else. I m very confused.

Hi

Treatment of follicular lymphoma usually involves a combination of chemotherapy and a monoclonal antibody called rituximab.

Some people may have radiotherapy.

Regards
