General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and welcome.

The pain around the collar bones is due to the cardioversion, but the fever is unexplanable at this point of time as I do not have eniugh information at hand. If you are still at the hospital, speak to his doctor and possibly initiate a course of antibiotics as well as a prophylactic course.

Best wishes.
