Suggest Treatment For Fever

My son,5 years old having fever since last 36 hours.Maxfever reached 104 deg F.Doc examined and detected for tonsillitis, white patch and pain at throat.Prescribed Cephalexin Oral susp IP, 12gm/30ml and Ibugesic.Still fever comes at 2-3 hrs interval. Please suggest.
