Suggest Treatment For Fever

My husband is having fever for the past 1 week. More at evening + night time.
He is taking different paracetamol tablets, but nothing seems to be working.
No stomach pain, no head ache. his only problem is fever, which is not subsiding. Temparature varies from 99 F to 102 F. Last night he was having chills.
What do you suggest?

Hello
Fever with chills and more fever in the evening may be due to , these reasons , these includes.
1 Typhoid fever , diagnosis can be confirmed by Widal test and serology test for typhoid fever . As this is a very common fever which causes evening rise of temperature . ( paracetamol only subsides fever but no cure) .
2 Tuberculosis , diagnosis can be confirmed by chest X RAY , blood for E S R & c b c .
3 Jaundice is the another most common cause of such fever ( with mild chills ) . Diagnosis can be confirmed by serum bilirubin examination ( direct , indirect , total ) with S G OT , SG PT .
However there are other so many reasons of such fever , as Dengue ( serology test) , malaria ( peripheral blood film ) , viral but deal as mentioned above .
Consult a physician and get his opinion as mere use of paracetamol is not good for health.
