For three weeks I have been having normalish colored stools but every time I wipe its bright yellow and kinda slimy looking. My bms also keep changing from solid to mostly liquids with bits of solids and the toilet water is bright yellow looking as well. I havent had any fevers or vomiting or severe abdominal pain but I have had bloating, belching, a burning sensation in my stomach, gurgling and rumbling, discomfort on my right side kind towards the middle of my side and an ache in my back under the right shoulder. I went to the dr the other day and was prescribed 40mg of omeprazole and gas x. The burning sensation is gone and the belching is better but im still worried about my stools. What could this be and should I go back to the dr before my next appointment which is on the 5th of Nov.? Also, I had an ultrasound done feb. 2014 for similat symptoms and that came back normal.
