Suggest Treatment For Fever And Loose Stools In A Child

My 2 year old has a fever and loose stools (once a day) for three days. Doctor prescribed Neofloxin, enterogermina and Zinc. It s been 2 days he s having above medicines. But still I have to administer paracetamol every 4 - 5 hours to control fever. Should I continue this or go for further medical advice. Pls help.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have for fever and loose stools in a child . Well the symptoms you mention in query can occur due to may reasons like infection of the gut , food poisoning , inflammation of the gut (colitis), food intolerance and various rare disorders of the gut . I would suggest you to consult pediatrician for proper examination . Doctor may prescribe lopramide , laxative , omeprazole and actacids . For now give your child fruits like banana and lot of fluid .
